May 2021 Raffle Benefiting Baby Wyatt

Hey y’all we are holding the next drawing on Friday May 21st. I’m working weekends this month, so we had to adapt and overcome. We will be coming to you LIVE from Roman Jackson’s, so it should be just as fun as the last one . So here’s the info about this month’s drawing:

Robert Welton is a Sergeant with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. He has been married to his wife, Colleen for 10 years. They have a beautiful 5 year old daughter, and earlier this year Colleen gave birth to their son, Baby Wyatt.

Baby Wyatt Robert Welton was born 2.10.21 a few weeks earlier than anticipated. He was in need of some immediate medical needs including heart surgery. He was flown to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL on 02.11.21 where he has been ever since. None of these complications were anticipated. Wyatt was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation called Cornelia De Lange Syndrome. A palliative stent has been put in place for the time being which will hopefully allow him to come home where he can grow and hopefully be able to have a full open heart surgery down the road. It is a long road ahead with numerous other medical procedures he will need as he gets bigger, but we will celebrate every inchstone with him.

Obviously the hospital bills are overwhelming, and the last thing anybody should be worrying about. So, we are going to hold the this month’s drawing to help cover some of the bills not covered by insurance. You may be asking yourself what can you do? Well, we will have “tickets” available for purchase the drawing. Tom Shoemaker Your Rustic Freedom has graciously donated a custom Southern LEO Challenge Coins rack. We will also have many other items such as challenge coins, patches, ball caps, etc.

We are also needing anything a member may want to donate. Do you have some challenge coins, etc that are extra? Maybe a coin/patch from your agency? Donations of items from the members is what makes all of this possible. Stay tuned for more information
